Maxi Updated by Maxi

In this module section you have the possibility to link your social media accounts. Simply insert the desired link to the individual channels. You can link your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, XING or LinkedIn account here.

After saving, the social media icons will be added to the web page. These symbols are now also linked to social media appearances of MATE.

With the help of the following module you have the possibility to decorate your website with a header image. This image always appears in the upper part of your website and can either be displayed in its pure form or serve as a background for your registration form.

If you have chosen to display your registration form as a stand-alone form and then upload a header image, only the image without any text will be displayed at the top of your website.

In the first step you fill in general information that you already know from the Web Page Generator and the configuration of other templates:

  • Menu name
  • Headline
  • Text
  • Background color

If you do not select an independent background color, the main color is always used.

Upload the image file that is to act as the header image.

Please note the specified minimum pixel size. To ensure an optimal display of your website on mobile devices, it is recommended to upload a header image as well - please note the changed pixel recommendations.

All further image details can be defined in the expert mode.

Your image may be cropped on the website to fit the page layout. To make sure that no important image details are missing, you can enter a minimum height for the header image. To ensure that the mobile image is also displayed according to your wishes, you can also specify the minimum height of the pixels here.

You can also decide whether image scaling should be activated or deactivated, that is, whether the image should adjust when the window size is changed. You can also activate or deactivate the darkening of the header image. You can also darken the background of the registration form so that the font of the registration form is easier to read.

If your text color in the header is white, the text does not 'disappear', but you cannot see it during configuration in the editor, because the color white is already applied to the text. Use the preview function to see the white text.

Countdown

With MATE you have the possibility to integrate a countdown for your event on the registration page.

Follow the standard settings already mentioned in previous templates, which are requested in many modules:

  • Activate the module on the website by placing a check mark
  • Defining the menu name in the menu bar
  • Countdown Text

You can structure the order of the text by using the different text fields provided for this purpose. In this way you determine which text appears in line 1, 2 or 3. If you do not insert any text in line 2, MATE automatically integrates the date and time of your event at this position.

Individual labelling of the tags is not a must, as the countdown is automatically labelled with "days", "hours", "minutes" and "seconds".

With the preview function you can see directly how this would look like on the registration page.

Text box (only in the Advanced and Complete templates)

If you create your website using the Advanced or Complete template, you can use this configuration step to integrate a text box on your website.  The configuration follows the same steps as before:

  • Activate the module on the Web page by setting a check mark
  • Defining the menu name in the menu bar
  • Headline
  • Font color Heading
  • Text
  • Background color

Again, note the special feature of the text color white, which is already displayed in this way in the editor of your configuration. This means that if you choose white as the font color, you will not see the entered text, because the font is then already displayed in white in the editor. If you select the text, you can view it despite the white color.

You can also use a text module to display additional images on your website or to insert them in addition to your text. Simply copy the link of the desired image into the text editor. MATE recognizes that this is the link to an image file and automatically displays this image.

Program/ Agenda (only in the Advanced and Complete templates)

If you create your website using the Advanced or Complete template, you can insert and publish a complete agenda or programme of your event on your site in a few simple steps.

The structure of this module should already look familiar to you from the standard steps of the Web Page Generator:

  • Activate the module on the website by placing a check mark
  • Defining the menu name in the menu bar
  • Headline
  • Font color Heading
  • Text
  • Background color

Now the individual program points can be entered and a font color can be assigned to this point. You can also assign a tab name to tab 1, i.e. the 1st program. It is also possible in the Complete template to create additional tabs in the next templates.

Currently, it is possible to enter up to 12 program points per tab using MATE. You can assign a name and a text to each individual program item.

And you can already present the programme of the event to your guests on the registration page:

Not only can you integrate one program into your website, but in the Complete template you also have the option to add more tabs with other programs. This can be helpful if you have several event days or offer different programs in different venues.

All other tabs are configured in the same way as Tab 1.

Here is a preview how the result looks like if you embed 2 event days and thus 2 tabs on your registration page:

Speakers/guests of honour (only in the Advanced and Complete templates)

You have invited guests of honour or guests to your event and would like to introduce and communicate this to your guests in advance? This is also no problem with MATE in the web page templates Advanced and Complete.

The first steps again resemble the basic settings of previous modules:

  • Activate the module on the website by placing a check mark
  • Defining the menu name in the menu bar
  • Headline
  • Font color Heading
  • Text
  • Background color

Once these have been completed, integrate the individual speakers or guests of honour. You can create up to 15 speakers or guests of honor in the pre-installed basic template of MATE. You can assign an image to each speaker and specify a name and a description/function.

Please note that the image size should be 430x430 pixels to ensure optimal display on the website.

Image (right)/ text (left) and image (left)/ text (right)

These options, which are available in the Complete template, allow you to insert images along with text. You can decide whether you want images to be arranged on the right and the corresponding text on the left, or vice versa. Since otherwise filling out these modules is almost identical to the previous steps, this basic configuration will now only be briefly introduced once more

  • Activation of the module on the website by placing a check mark
  • Defining the menu name in the menu bar
  • Headline
  • Font color Heading
  • Text
  • Background color

Image slideshow (only available in the Complete template)

When working with the Complete template, this module offers you the option of adding another visually appealing element to your website: an image slideshow. This allows you to present several images in a quick sequence. Currently, it is possible to integrate up to 15 images within this module. The first settings correspond to previous modules:

  • Activation of the module on the website by setting a check mark
  • Defining the menu name in the menu bar
  • Headline
  • Font color Heading
  • Text
  • Background color

Now you can upload the image files you want to use. Again, please note the recommended size of 900x450 pixels per image file to ensure an appealing presentation.

Video (only available in the Complete template)

As a further highlight, you can use the Complete template to add a video to your website. The first steps are again similar to the configuration of previous modules.

To activate the Video module by ticking a box and entering a menu name and a heading. Similarly to the previous steps, you can then set the font color of the heading and, if necessary, insert a text and set the background color of the video.

Please note, however, that you can integrate either a video from YouTube or Vimeo and therefore need the embedded link of the corresponding video. You can find this link by opening the video from YouTube or Vimeo. To do this, you must first click on "Share".

The following window opens:

Video_einbetten.png

Now all you need to do is copy the link between src="LINK" under "Embed" so that the video appears on the website.

Alternatively, you can also embed a video that you host yourself (for example an mp4 file). Just copy the link to your video and you can upload it to your website.

Partners/ Sponsors (only available in the Complete template)

The Partner/Sponsor module, which is available in the Complete template, is structured like the previous modules:

  • Activation of the module on the website by placing a check mark
  • Defining the menu name in the menu bar
  • Headline
  • Font color Heading
  • TextPartner
  • Background color

Then upload the pictures of your partners/sponsors. Currently up to 55 image files can be integrated within this module of MATE.
